White Wolf Rafting
Thrilling White Water Rafting on the Kananaskis River, Alberta.
My experience with White Wolf Rafting has allowed me to combine my background in outdoor adventure with my passion for photography and videography. As a trained river guide operating on Class III whitewater, I have developed a strong understanding of the environment, safety, and the fast-paced nature of river operations. Alongside guiding, I have contributed to the brand’s social media by creating photo and video content that captures the energy, personality, and experience of a day on the river.
Working in an outdoor environment has taught me how to anticipate moments, adapt quickly, and capture authentic content without taking away from the guest experience. From documenting the guides and team culture to creating engaging reels and visual stories for the brand, I have learned how powerful content can be in showcasing what makes an experience memorable. Combining my knowledge of the river with my creative skills allows me to create genuine, immersive content that connects with audiences and helps outdoor brands tell their story.
timberline Academy
Banff Wilderness Guide School.
My time at Timberline Alpine Academy has been one of the most defining experiences in both my outdoor and creative journey. After completing the two-year diploma program, I continued my involvement with the academy by working as part of their media team, creating photography and video content that showcases the experiences, students, and culture of the program. From capturing day-to-day moments in the mountains to producing reels, social media content, and storytelling pieces, I have helped share the Timberline experience with a wider audience.
Alongside my media work, Timberline has challenged me to develop a deep understanding of the mountain environment through extensive training in ski guiding, mountaineering, avalanche education, and backcountry travel. Working in complex and demanding terrain has taught me how to remain calm, adaptable, and aware of the moments happening around me. This experience directly influences my approach to photography and filmmaking, allowing me to capture authentic stories from within the environment rather than simply observing from the outside.
Through Timberline, I have developed the ability to create compelling visual content in challenging outdoor settings while understanding the skills, preparation, and passion behind the experiences being captured. Whether creating graduation films, documenting student journeys, or producing social media content, my goal is to tell stories that reflect the adventure, connection, and community that define the outdoor industry.
cloud Nine Guides
Mountain Adventures in Canmore, Alberta the gateway to Banff National Park.
My experience with Cloud Nine Guides and Cloud Nine Troutfitters has been one of the most influential parts of my development as both an outdoor professional and visual storyteller. Through working closely with Mike, a highly respected guide in the industry, I gained invaluable experience in mountain travel, backcountry decision-making, and operating confidently in challenging environments. Cloud Nine played an important role in training Timberline Alpine Academy students through multi-day field sessions and overnight expeditions, giving me the opportunity to learn directly from experienced guides while building my own skills in complex terrain.
Alongside my outdoor training, I was brought onto the Cloud Nine team to create photography and video content for both their winter guiding operations and summer fly fishing adventures. Working in remote mountain environments taught me how to anticipate moments, move efficiently with a group, and capture authentic experiences without disrupting the flow of the day. From backcountry skiing and guiding experiences to wilderness fly fishing, I have developed the ability to create visual stories that showcase not only the adventure itself, but the connection, skill, and passion behind each experience.
Cloud Nine has shaped the way I approach outdoor photography and filmmaking by combining technical knowledge with storytelling. Understanding the environments I am documenting allows me to create content that feels genuine, immersive, and true to the experiences these companies provide.
Brices Furniture
Canadian made, solid wood, custom, Mennonite furniture built to last a lifetime!
Brice’s Furniture is a family-owned and operated business with over 65 years of experience creating custom cabinetry and millwork for high-end residential spaces. As a manager and salesperson within the business, I was involved in every stage of the client experience—from working with homeowners and builders to understanding the vision behind each project. Alongside my role in the company, I became the primary photographer responsible for capturing the finished spaces and showcasing the craftsmanship behind each custom build.
Over the years, I photographed a wide range of completed residential projects, including custom kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, entertainment spaces, and built-in features within luxury homes, renovations, and new builds. Through this experience, I developed a strong understanding of architectural photography, composition, lighting, and how to highlight the details that make a space unique. My goal was always to create imagery that not only documented the finished work, but also told the story of the design, craftsmanship, and care that went into every project.
